    Government Polytechnic Jalna founded in 1982,is one of the oldest institutes dedicated to technical education.GPJ is  ideally situated at Nagewadi,Aurangabad Road Jalna and well connected by road.GPJ prides itself for locating among the historic surrounding of Ajantha &Ellora caves and Daulatabad fort.Its evolution begain in 1982 with 60 intake capacity. Government of maharashtra has recognized the efforts of the institude in the field of technical.
